The Piano Technicians Guild is the world's largest nonprofit organization serving piano tuners, technicians, and craftspersons.
PTG’s mission is to promote the highest possible standards of piano service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
PTG sponsors meetings, seminars, workshops and conventions, and publishes a monthly technical magazine, the Piano Technicians Journal, which features a wealth of technical information ranging from useful hints to in-depth instruction on tuning, repairing and rebuilding.
PTG members can also earn the Registered Piano Technician (RPT) accreditation through examination.
